I’m not really in the valentine spirit today… I think I need to watch some romantic comedy movies and eat chocolate this weekend and maybe it’ll come to me, but as for now there will be no artsy pictures of hearts and macaroons on my blog. </3 (Although I did get macaroons, yum! Oh, and I stole a sparkly heart decoration from the cafeteria but only because I thought it was pretty.) Anyway, I’m currently munching on carrots and wishing I was attending The Westminster Dog Show… romantic, right?
Lets get back to business. Fashion week is coming to a close tomorrow. I was supposed to go to the Douglas Hannant show in the morning but I can’t go anymore… ugh!
SO, as promised, here are my favorite looks from DVF.
It’s probably my top favorite. I love slouchy pants with the tailored blazer and the red on red with the brown that also has the red hints and I could go on about this forever…
When I was little my Mom had a red dress from Valentino that I used to think made her look like a queen. Although this isn’t a dress, it resembles my Mom’s dress SO much and it makes me kind of nostalgic. Oh, the good ol’ days. (I think I once swore to myself I would never say that… oops.)
LBD LBD LBD LBD…. and GLOVES! Another one below:
I’ve always wished I was an edgy girl but I really do have a soft spot for pink and ruffles. I love this because it has edge but it’s still girly with the glitter.
Not normally my style but I think this is really chic. I love the chains.
This one isn’t my favorite but it looks like the coat I wore to the show:
PS. Did anyone notice I wore heels, not flats? Be proud! My feet are ready to kill me… STILL.
Okay, So the below photo I like the dress but I thought the model was terrible. She’s very pretty, but when she walked out I thought she was actually going to faint. She looked so small and she seemed pained by every step she took. I know that all models are extremely underweight, but this one took it too far. You can’t tell at all in the photo, but you could actually see all her bones, and the dress was WAY too big on her.
What do you think? Come back tomorrow for my overall fashion week favorites!
