Literally The Coolest Person Ever: Karlie Kloss

Karlie Kloss has been my favorite model since her February 2008 cover shoot with Chanel Iman and Ali Michael (see below). Her walk and look are unique and versatile. She has managed to stay in the industry as a successful model since 2008 when she started her career at the age of 16.

She was later on the cover again in May 2010. When I met with Amy Astley that May I mentioned to her how excited I was that they featured Karlie again. She said that she loved Karlie too, but that models didn’t sell as well as celebrities. They have yet to feature another model since.

My favorite Karlie Kloss walk was her Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2011 opening. (Video below). Her walk here is absolutely stunning. She couldn’t have played with the beautiful structure of the dress any better. It was perfect.
