I really did just spend the last hour watching the VIRTUAL BEN & JERRY’S FACTORY TOUR on their website while eating New York Super Fudge Chunk. And it was actually one of the best boring-stuck-at-home summer night activities you could ever think of. (Well, earlier I went to Barnes & Noble with a stack of about 10 magazines and sat in a corner and read them cover to cover, so that was good, too.)
I’m unhealthily obsessed with Ben & Jerry’s. I love the excitement of spotting a new flavor in the grocery store for the first time and rushing home to devour the entire pint in a gross amount of time (wait I don’t do that?). Ben & Jerry’s is really the only ice cream that I’m obsessed with. I live for the sugary creaminess and exciting fudge chunks. It’s unique and special and DREAMY WITH THOSE CLOUDS ON THE FRONT OF THE CARTON! My favorite flavors are: Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Half Baked, Cinnamon Buns, Chunky Monkey and Red Velvet Cake. (I’ve yet to try the new Chocolate Therapy, but I’m sure when I do it will join that list very quickly.)
So not only does their ice cream taste delish, but they’re doing even MORE great things for the WHOLE WORLD! Ben & Jerry’s is free trade, organic and they use partner shops to employ troubled people throughout the world. Read all about the company’s activism here. It’s actually very impressive.
Also, Be sure to follow Ben & Jerry’s on Instagram because they’re posting photos of the factory each week!
(I’m a skinny fat person.)
What are your favorite flavors?
