Target and Neiman Marcus announced in Women’s Wear Daily on Tuesday that the two companies were teaming up with a group of designers from the CFDA to create an exclusive holiday collection. Each designer will create a few pieces ranging from clothes to home furniture to electronic accessories. And I could not be more excited.
They said that they expect the collection to sell out in a few days, but I’m wondering if thats really true. This collaboration is unlike anything we’ve seen before. It’s a collaboration between two retailers, and many designers. I like this concept because it shows that fashion really shouldn’t be competitive, and allows customers from all different backgrounds to enjoy the merchandise because everything is represented. And so my guess is that its going to sell out: fast. Maybe even faster than before?
Start your planning to get to the front of the line now.
